Evidence of crossover with Attack on Titan discovered
Call of Duty: Vanguard is now available for consoles and PC. Reason enough for users to check the shooter’s source code for possible surprises. A reference to a crossover with “Attack on Titan” was discovered.
Last week, “Call of Duty: Vanguard” was the latest offshoot of the long-lasting shooter series for consoles and PCs.
As is usually the case with the release of a new triple-A title, Dataminer also took on the source code for “Call of Duty: Vanguard” in order to screen it for possible surprises. The users came across the hint that Activision and the developers of Sledgehammer Games could plan a crossover with the popular manga or anime “Attack on Titan”. But what details can be found in the source code of “Call of Duty: Vanguard” in this regard?
A weapon and a new operator?
On the one hand, the data miners discovered evidence of a corresponding operator and stated: “Some things were found in memory dumps for Avantgarde. Most interesting is the mention of a ‘swordtitan’ and an ‘aot_titan’ operator. The theory is that there will be an Attack On Titan crossover for the avant-garde. (Probably sometime in December, if that’s the case). “
