Doha: The “Information Assets Classification” project has been completed by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA).
The project ensures high-end protection for hosted data protection. According to Muna Alfadhli, Director of Information Systems Department, the project was initiated to ensure enhanced cybersecurity in compliance with the national strategy.
MADLSA was one of the first organisations to complete an information asset classification project for hosting data within its services according to the level of sensitivity and implement the security controls necessary to protect hosted data following international best practices and standards.
