Saudi Arabia removes precautionary and preventive measures related to Covid-19

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has lifted the precautionary and preventative measures against the Covid 19 pandemic.

In the Grand Holy Mosque, the Prophet’s Holy Mosque, and other mosques social distancing is no longer required. But people must wear masks inside these facilities.

A statement reported by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), also reported the suspension of social distancing in all open and closed places. It also added that masks are required only in closed places.

Passengers entering Saudi Arabia do not need to provide PCR tests and Rapid Antigen Tests. They are also not required to adhere to quarantine when they arrive in the Kingdom.

Those who arrive in the Kingdom with visit visas are requested to have medical insurance. This is to cover the expenses of treatment for Covid 19 during their stay in the Kingdom.Β
