Three Florida teens kill another student with a knife and sword

Police in Miramar, Florida, have confirmed that three teenagers are charged with killing a high school classmate and planning the murder after the victim had sex with the ex-girlfriend of one of the suspects.

Authorities explained they said that two women, ages 16 and 17, and a man, 17, have been arrested in connection with the brutal crime of 18-year-old Dwight Grant. The young man was a senior at Miramar High School and was found dead last week in the apartment complex where he lived.

According to the police report, the victim was “Brutally beaten” and presented “multiple stab wounds”. In addition, the authorities assured that Grant was attracted by the teenager’s current girlfriend, the 17-year-old girl, with whom he had agreed to meet for sexual relations.

The affidavit revealed that the teenager was angry that Grant had had sex with an ex. He later texted another suspect saying that “The murder will definitely happen soon” and admitted to being upset because he had an “emotional connection” with the young woman.

The other suspect replied saying that he would “help” him. Miramar police said they found no evidence of sexual assault and the ex-girlfriend admitted to authorities that her sexual relationship with Grant was consensual.

The text messages revealed that the teens planned to attack Grant. making one of the girls lure him. When Grant walked up a ladder, the other teenagers attacked him while the third acted as a lookout.

During the confrontation, Grant tried to flee but was immobilized. He was stabbed in the neck with a knife and begged them to “finish for him.” At that moment, the teenager stabbed him in the chest from behind.

It all happened on October 17, but Grant’s body didn’t show up until two days later. A knife was found at his side with a broken blade. The three teens are charged with first degree murder, tampering with evidence and criminal conspiracy.

After the murder, Grant’s body was thrown over a railing and dragged into some nearby bushes. At the same time, a suspect was trying to wipe the blood off the floor.

To hide their role in the crime, the group allegedly made a small fire to burn his clothes. The deadly attack, however, was captured by video surveillance cameras, but so far it has not been disclosed.
