Qatar participated in the Seatrade Cruise Global 2021

Doha: Qatar is taking part in the Seatrade Cruise Global exhibition and conference, with a delegation formed of government and private sector representatives led by Qatar Tourism and Mwani Qatar. The representatives from the Al Tawfic Travel & Tourism and Doha Bus are also in the Qatari delegation. This allows the representatives to share their knowledge and enhance the tourism sector of the country.

This worldwide forum, which takes place in Miami from September 28 to 30, brings together experts from the cruise industry to discuss the newest industry trends. Seatrade Cruise Global will include over 700 exhibitors from industries such as ports and destinations, ship equipment and shipbuilding, entertainment, environment and health, hospitality, information technology, and much more, with participation from 140 countries.

Qatar is in the midst of a comprehensive reconstruction of Doha Port, the country’s gateway to marine tourism. This action is part of the government’s efforts to enhance Qatar’s status as an attractive tourist destination.

Mwani Qatar and Qatar Tourism are striving to expand the country’s marine tourism business in partnership with governmental and private sector partners. Since 2015, there has been a notable increase in the number of travellers. For the winter season, Doha is becoming one of the most popular luxury cruise destinations in the Arabian Gulf.
