The date and a new trailer for the sci-fi action title

Today the indie developers at Drakkar Dev not only presented us with a fresh trailer for “Blackwind”. At the same time, the final release date of the science fiction adventure was announced.

With “Blackwind” the developers at Drakkar Dev are currently developing an action title in a science fiction guise, which was originally due to appear in the fourth quarter of this year.

As the studio admitted in a recent announcement, “Blackwind” needs a little more development time and will therefore no longer be released in 2021 as originally planned. However, interested players will not have to wait much longer. Instead, the studio announced today that “Blackwind” will be available on January 20, 2022 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.

New trailer sweetens the waiting time until the release

In “Blackwind” you slip into the role of a teenager who is stuck in a prototype combat suit during an alien invasion and who unceremoniously takes up the fight against the alien threat. The heated battles, with which “Blackwind” will score points according to the developer, will be contested from a top-down perspective.
