A road connecting QU metro to Al Tarfa Intersection has been opened by Ashghal

Doha: Works on a new road connecting Qatar University Metro Station and the school’s entrances to Al Tarfa Intersection has been completed by Ashghal.  Ashghal tweeted yesterday that this will ease the traffic flow, and will enhance the transport networks in the area. 

Road marking & signs, street light systems and irrigation and stormwater lines have been established as part of the works by Ashghal. The road now has a shared cycle and pedestrian path of 2.5 km with 151 trees. It also has a green area of 7,000 sqm.
