Three members of the Gulf Cartel criminal group, including one of its leaders, were killed on Friday night, after a series of clashes with military forces and police in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, informed Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca.
Four more members of the Gulf Cartel were detained in the actions, after several shootings, blockades and burning of vehicles.

García Cabeza de Vaca reported that a civilian also died and two more were injured and discharged.

At least 15 different points and road accesses were blocked by members of the criminal group with heavy vehicles and 3 cars were burned.
