Today, the State of Kuwait announced the formation of the new government headed by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
The Kuwait News Agency reported that His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, blessed the new government formation, during his meeting with the Prime Minister today, expressing his aspiration for fruitful cooperation between members of the legislative and executive authorities.
She indicated that the Emiri order to form the government included the appointment of Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Ahmed Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Dr. Muhammad Abdul Latif Al-Faris as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.
The government also included the appointment of Issa Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Kandari as Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Rana Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al-Faris, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs, Dr. Ali Fahd Al-Mudhaf as Minister of Education and Minister For Higher Education and Scientific Research, Counselor Jamal Hadil Salem Al-Jalawi, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Integrity Promotion, Dr. Hamad Ahmed Rouh El-Din, Minister of Information and Culture, Dr. Khaled Mahwus Suleiman Al-Saeed, Minister of Health, Mr. Abdulwahab Muhammad Al-Rasheed, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, and Ali Hussein Ali Al-Mousa as Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Youth Affairs;
It is noteworthy that on November 15, an Emiri order was issued to seek the assistance of His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, to exercise some of the constitutional powers of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, on a temporary basis.
His Highness, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, had issued an Emiri order appointing His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister.
